I have to say that I didn’t expect to feel such a change in an 8 week program. Not only can I see a physical difference in myself and my muscle tone, but I feel better mentally and emotionally. I have struggled with body issues my entire young life and adult life, and have yo-yo’d around trying to find my own form of happy and healthy. I have struggled with binge eating, restricting, killing myself with cardio and hating myself for failing over and over. But i think I’ve finally found a new way of living and holding myself accountable while also thoroughly enjoying my life. Your program gave me structure and challenges in a way that I was M.O.T.I.V.A.T.E.D to do my best and push a little further. A few more rep. A little more weight. A more positive attitude. I learned to respect myself for what I COULD DO and what I HAVE accomplished, instead of focusing on what I couldn’t do or have failed at. I gained a support system that I absolutely adore and respect for their energy, motivation and selfless love for a girl that none have ever met. I’ve felt and seen a physical change yes, but that’s just the surface level and I’m just getting started. I have such a healthier mindset on what being fit and healthy and happy is. I don’t hate myself anymore or hold those negative thoughts and failures against myself anymore. I’m still learning and loving my life every day. I attribute a large part of my mental challenge to this workout and that’s something I can’t thank you and my girls enough for. It’s a beautiful world and I feel blessed to have a body that lets me play and work and learn.

Before starting your holiday fitness challenge I was in a workout “rut”. It wasn’t until a few years ago where I truly fell in love with working out. After moving back to my home town to start nursing school, I joined a gym and started taking the classes that were offered. I did every class from boot camp, HIIT, ripped, and spinning. Nursing school started to take over my life this past summer and due to my class schedule I wasn’t able to make it to the regularly scheduled workout classes. This really bummed me out because that is how I held myself accountable. Each week I would plan out what class I could make and I wouldn’t miss it! But when my scheduled changed and I couldn’t make it to a class every day I started getting off track. I still went to the gym, but it was only 2-3 times a week instead of 5-6 times. I made excuses and it showed. I wasn’t eating right or exercising as much as I wanted to or enjoyed to do. I was also stressed and exhausted all the time!
Fast forward to your holiday group challenge... Your challenge gave me the kick in the butt that I needed. I’m not confident in the gym, especially when it comes to weights, to make up my own workouts. Your program laid it out perfectly for me and it was super easy to follow. Knowing exactly what i needed to do each day, helped me to be accountable. I loved the variety and that each day i was going to be able to do something different than the day before. It also gave me the opportunity to physically challenge myself as i was able to increase my weights and gain more endurance with each of the exercises. I know I’ve had a great workout when I come out of it sore! I don’t know about you, but I love the feeling of being sore because it’s a reminder of how hard I worked and that changes are on the horizon!
At the beginning of the challenge I still wasn’t mentally prepared. I had a lot going on with school as finals were quickly approaching, so I had a lot of different emotions. I was especially stressed and overwhelmed. It was also the holidays, so I continued to make excuses. I was getting to the gym, but some days it was a struggle and some days I just didn’t have it in me. I think it was either after the first or second week of the challenge you had reached out to check in on me to see how I was doing. I told you I was bummed because I wasn’t as committed as I wanted to be. Your advice to make a plan ahead of time and just to keep going really stuck with me! I was able to change my mindset and at that point I was mentally ready to get it done. Was I perfect, no, but I did my best and I’m so proud of myself for sticking to it!
Because it was the holidays and I splurged on my diet I knew I wasn’t necessarily going to see the physical changes that I was really looking for, but I did see positive changes in my mental and emotional well-being. I had more energy, was sleeping better, and I had less stress.
I loved your program so much and I am so excited to be starting your new program! It’s a new year and I am so motivated! I still have my days, but I know with your program I am going to meet the goals I have been striving for! Thank you so much for everything!

I approached Live Well Lowell Fitness via Jen Lowell herself. I started my Healthy Lifestyle, Motivational, Fitness etc. Instagram account in the summer of 2017. I was just looking up fitness accounts to follow but then I learned about the quality of content and started following accounts that offered real content, real pictures, and real people. Throughout the start of my journey, I managed to stumble upon Jen Lowell's account and honestly it was one of the best things to have happened to me.
Jen was starting to test out her programs and beginning the process to create her own business. I was so lucky enough to be able to take part in testing out her programs and I honestly loved them!
So fast forward a few months. Jen was announcing the start of her OWN BUSINESS! So exciting! She also was offering an amazing Holiday Challenge program and I, of course, could not say no. The Holiday Challenge helped me by holding me accountable for hitting that gym 5-6 days of the week. Along with the challenge she created a GroupMe group chat with all the ladies participating in the challenge which was the coolest thing! It was such a great way to spread positivity and encouragement to others.
Yes, you can see some physical changes. Yes, this program WORKS. Yes, I will continue to work with Jen and continue to work towards my physical goals. BUT something that you cannot train nor teach or really explain to others -- is the mental gains. I lack body confidence just like EVERYONE else. I used to fear all the thoughts others had about me. I used to struggle with not believing in myself enough. I used to think I was not enough. I used to let my past define who I was. I used to look at others and immediately compare myself. BUT with working with Jen and getting my body back to the gym every day, I have grown so much stronger mentally. Of course, I struggle some days. I am HUMAN. However, with this challenge, I was able to be surrounded by a group of amazing beautiful ladies to not only encourage ME but a group of girls that I PERSONALLY got to help encourage and push them along the way. This challenge has not only taught me to be more disciplined in the gym, but in life in general. Getting back to the gym and creating a routine and seeing results has a greater effect than just a bangin' bod! I have grown to be more confident in my body, in my career, in my faith, and most importantly in my SELF WORTH.
One thing I liked about the program, besides having a fantastic trainer and getting to be surrounded by amazing ladies, I really loved that this program was designed for any level of athleticism. Whether you have been a gym rat your whole life or have never lifted a weight in your life, this program will meet your needs. The workouts are never the same each day, so there is a constant variety and you can decide what weights you want to start with. I personally am someone who has been an athlete her whole life, but it has been 3 years since hitting the weights hard so this program was even perfect for me to get back into the swing of things!
I found the experience extremely awarding and FUN! What..working out..FUN? YES YES YES! I personally have made friends who I have yet to meet in real life from this challenge. I also saw real results and I feel stronger and I know I am stronger. I found this experience to be so great that I did not hesitate for a second to join her next challenge Barbells & Bikinis!
This was an amazing experience and I am beyond grateful to have stumbled upon Jen's Instagram account. It has also been such a joy to watch her thrive and grow her business. She is a BAD A** and I'm beyond grateful to have her in my life and look forward to working with her programs!

Where do I even begin when talking about the Holiday Group Challenge and Jen? I absolutely loved this workout plan!! I have been working out for the past few years but always went through spurts of being consistent with my workouts and not. Before this challenge, I had been in a slump for awhile and knew I needed to change things up. I am so glad I decided to do this challenge group! While my progress photos might not show the biggest transformation, Jen’s workouts really pushed me to my limit. I know I’ve gotten stronger since I increased my weights over the course of the 8 weeks. I really enjoyed working muscles that I either never trained before or would only train every so often. I have gained new favorite exercises and back day is now a close second to my all time favorite leg day! (I used to barely train my back but not anymore!!)

I could text Jen with any question I’d have about an exercise or my form, and she would always respond quickly with instructions and further information. She has supported me from the very beginning, but not only was she in my corner, I was lucky enough to have other like minded women in my corner as well! The group chats not only kept me motivated on days I’d rather skip a workout, but I also gained new friendships that I know will last. Jen helped me realize when my excuses were simply excuses versus when I needed to listen to my body and rest, and that I am forever grateful for.
I am so excited to be joining the next challenge Jen is providing and I can’t wait to continue to use her programs!

Let me tell you a little about how tremendous and beneficial Jen’s challenges are! I have participated most recently in the Holiday Challenge and also got to experience the intensity of the Bunz and Gunz program she created. As an avid athlete and current occupational therapy student, I have difficulty with managing full-time school, work, and the gym. Her programs really help make the gym piece possible! I don’t have to worry about constructing my own workouts or spending hours walking around aimlessly at the gym. I can confidently get there, get my work out done, and get out. The best part is how accomplished I feel afterwards. Jen has built a wonderful social media platform and is ALWAYS available for help, questions, and encouragement!
